How to Use the Travel Countdown

Pick your departure date, add a time if you have one, and press Calculate. The countdown updates as you change the date, worked out on your own device.

What to enter

• Departure date is the day you leave; the countdown goes to the start of that day if you leave the time blank.
• Time is optional and uses a 24-hour HH:MM format, for example 09:00.

Task checkpoints

The table lists reference checkpoints at 60, 30, 14, 7, 3 and 1 day before, so you can tie tasks such as check-in, visas or packing to a date.
